Christopher M. Heffner (CCIE #8211) has been working in the networking field for the past 19 years. He teaches various networking certifications including Novell, Microsoft, Lotus Notes and Cisco Systems courses for the past 8 years. Chris is the owner of Strategic Network Solutions, Inc. and Certified Labs. Currently he teaches Cisco CCIE, CCNP, CCNA and Security related courses and consults on various Cisco network design and installations for his customers. He currently teaches the Cisco CCNA, Routing, Remote Access, Switching, Troubleshooting, Security and various CCIE, CCNP and CCNA Bootcamps. Chris does technical editing for Cisco Press including the newly released Cisco Press "CCNP Practical Studies: Troubleshooting" book by Donna Harrington. Other works include the Syngress CCNA Study Guide - Second Edition. Chris completed his Routing & Switching CCIE in September of 2001 and is currently working towards his Security CCIE.

Steve McQuerry (CCIE #6108) is a network consultant, instructor, and technical author who specializes in campus networking. Steve currently serves as the course developer and course director for Global Knowledge's Advanced Cisco Campus Switching course. He has also developed and taught specialized switching courses for fortune 100 companies and government agencies throughout the United States. In addition to teaching, Steve provides consulting services specializing in switched network environments. Steve also works with Cisco Press and is a co-author of the Cisco Field Manual: Catalyst Switch Configuration and Cisco Field Manual: Router Configuration titles, the editor of the Cisco Press title CCNA Self Study: Interconnecting Cisco Network Devices, and co-editor of the Cisco Voice over Frame Relay, ATM, and IP title.
